ARTlab: Risograph Prints

Explore the imaginative world of surrealism during this hands-on ARTlab workshop inspired by the exhibition International Surrealism from Tate: Fifty Years of Dreams. Participants create their own surrealist Risograph prints using imagery from the exhibition and the magazine ephemera on view while experimenting with surreal compositions and layered printmaking techniques. Guided by printmaker Graeme Morris, attendees develop collage-based designs and learn the fundamentals of Risograph printing, including layering, texture, and color, before producing an edition of 10 prints to take home.
