Art But Make It Sports: In Conversation with LJ Rader
The Frist Art Museum welcomes LJ Rader, creator of the popular Art But Make It Sports social media accounts, for a lively conversation with Andrew Maraniss, New York Times-bestselling author and Vanderbilt Athletics special projects coordinator. A Vanderbilt alum, sports media professional, and lifelong art enthusiast, LJ pairs iconic sports moments with historic works of art in surprising, humorous, and often uncanny ways. His personal project has grown into a global phenomenon and inspired his book, Art But Make It Sports: Epic Matchups Where Art and Sports Collide.
A book signing with LJ follows the conversation. Tickets for the talk only are $10 for Frist members and $20 for non-members. Talk-and-book packages are $30 for members and $38 for non-members. fristartmuseum.org
