America the Beautiful: National Parks & Landmarks by Rail

America the Beautiful: National Parks & Landmarks by Rail

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a special model train exhibition at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens, featuring an immersive journey through some of the nation’s most treasured landmarks. Showcasing 10 running trains, more than 850 feet of track, and 25 iconic sites — from the Statue of Liberty to the Great Smoky Mountains, Ryman Auditorium, Graceland, and the Golden Gate Bridge — this is the largest and most elaborate model train exhibition ever presented at Cheekwood, with each structure crafted entirely from natural plant materials by Applied Imagination. On view in the Bradford Robertson Color Garden from May 2 through September 6, Tuesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the exhibition complements Cheekwood’s permanent TRAINS! display, open year-round.
