Airing of the Quilts
Celebrate a generations-old quilting tradition at the annual Gee’s Bend Quilt Festival. This special community celebration features quilt displays and sales, hands-on workshops, demonstrations, guided tours, regional food, and opportunities to connect with the area’s renowned quilting heritage. Visitors can also take the ferry to nearby Camden to explore the Black Belt Treasures Cultural Arts Center, home to creative works by more than 400 Black Belt artists and craftspeople.
