Promoting public knowledge and appreciation for plants, gardens and the environment as a whole, Birmingham Botanical Gardens is a beautiful 67.5-acre living museum. Thanks to free admission and more than 30 themed gardens, an entire day can easily be spent exploring all of the scenes from different cultures and collections. From horticulture, floral photography and yoga classes to plant sales, summer workshops and the only public horticultural library in the United States, there are ample opportunities at Birmingham Botanical Gardens for learning and developing a greater appreciation for the natural beauty that mother nature provides.
