A Masters-Inspired Design Project You Need to See
On the heels of the Masters Tournament, we're still thinking about this year's design at the exclusive Double Eagle Club. Take a look at the stunning before-and-after! Image: Soucie Horner Design Collective
For the first time in its 34-year history, the exclusive Double Eagle Club tapped outside interior design experts to elevate the clubhouse experience that its members would enjoy during this year’s Masters Tournament. If you love the timelessly preppy Masters aesthetic, you’ll love the details of this installation — rich blues and greens, textured rugs, lush fabrics, and plenty of golf-inspired accessories — all creatively layered for an elevated yet lived-in look.
The Before
The Double Eagle Club was founded in 1992, in an old Piggly Wiggly! Today, the clubhouse has a permanent (and prestigious) location adjacent to Augusta National Golf Course — but its facilities are only used once a year, during Masters Week.

The After
To elevate both the overall aesthetic and the guest experience for the 2026 tournament, the club enlisted the expertise of Chicago-based firm Soucie Horner Design Collective, led by Shea Soucie and Martin Horner.
Their team transformed the club into Masters Heaven, lined with deliciously cozy seating areas, lush greenery and fabrics, and a beautiful collection of rugs from their own rug line, Shiir Rugs. Take a look around!
