Feathers Boutique
Neighborhood: Vestavia
More Info: shopfeathersboutique.com
Feathers Boutique celebrates its first birthday this June, and in less than a year, this Vestavia shop has become a local go-to for stylish, easy-to-wear pieces. This spring, owner Tealla Stewart is showcasing bright colors (especially green), daring patterns, and plenty of florals — plus cheerful details like polka dots on everything from dresses to denim. Chunky resin bead jewelry adds a pop of color, while versatile fabrics like modal keep looks effortlessly wearable.
Feminine Flair in Full Bloom
This green maxi is a spring standout, featuring a bold pink flower print and a back tie that adds a spirited touch. Styled with cute but comfy sandals, a pink acrylic purse, and classic gold jewelry, the look is sophisticated and feminine — the kind of outfit you’ll want to wear everywhere.
“I love dresses that move with you, and this maxi is flowy, fun, and perfect for spring,” Tealla shares.

Coordinated Color, Lively Patterns
This vibrant print top makes a statement and captures the season’s energy. The collared neckline and button-front detailing give a polished edge, while the waist tie creates a flattering shape.
Pair it with the coordinating Yasmin Smocked Waist Maxi Skirt, cork wedges, a tan mini tote, and chunky coral resin bead jewelry for an easy, on-trend look.

Style Meets Function
Who doesn’t love a two-piece ensemble? This comfy, versatile top-and-skort set comes in a springy shade of green and is crafted from buttery-soft modal fabric, making it easy to wear for morning errands or evening outings.
Top it off with a gold chain and hoop earrings, grab a sling bag for your essentials, and slip on cute sneakers for a look that’s relaxed, stylish, and perfectly in step with the season’s trends.

Gus Mayer
Neighborhood: The Summit
More Info: gusmayer.com
This spring, Gus Mayer buyers Cami Krablin and Mary Parke Mercer say collections have a soft, romantic vibe, with embroidered details, buttery yellow hues, and a return to straight and boot-cut denim.
Matching sets are still having a moment, while dresses shine in patterns galore and muted pastels, often in silk, satin, or lace. Boho touches, bows, and delicate textures add charm.
Bold Florals
Soft color and fabulous florals come together in this pale pink maxi. The oversized blooms offer an eye-catching element, while the short sleeves and flattering silhouette keep it comfortable for everything from daytime outings to evening gatherings.
Graceful and understated, it plays up soft prints and a muted palette. Suede green sandals add an unexpected pop of color, giving the look a fresh feel for sunny spring days.

Pastel Power
Instead of sharp tailoring, this head-to-toe pastel pink suit offers a gentle, more approachable feel. Matching pants and a jacket create a polished base, while a button-down with a contrasting print adds personality.
Cream lace shoes and a cream Gucci bag soften the look, while oxidized sterling silver jewelry completes the spring-ready ensemble.

Buttoned Up Boho
Boho is enjoying a comeback this year. This flowing dress features a button-down front for a touch of structure while keeping the silhouette soft and loose.
Styled with oxidized sterling silver jewelry, the look stays light and free-spirited. “This maxi captures spring’s softer, romantic side, which is one of the things we love about it,” says AC Graham, Gus Mayer’s PR and marketing manager.

Ryan Reeve
Neighborhood: Cahaba Heights
More Info: ryan-reeve.myshopify.com
Since 2018, Ryan Reeve has been helping Birmingham women embrace timeless style with “a touch of trend.” This spring, the boutique is leaning into color and femininity with lavender and orchid hues, prominent florals, ruffles, tailored shirts with unique twists, and statement dresses. Scarves, pastels, and prints are also having a moment.
“Spring is all about having fun with color, prints, and feminine details,” owner Beth Keplinger shares.
Soft Hues & Bold Florals
Spring style is in full bloom with the two dresses styled below. A soft lavender pleated maxi features a button-down front, tie waist, and crisp collar, while pastel tones keep the look light.
The flower-print dress offers versatility with or without a belt and stays elevated yet easygoing with a collared neckline.
“Both pieces capture the essence of spring fashion — feminine details, soft hues, and cheerful prints — making them easy, statement-making options for any spring outing,” Beth adds.

A Spin on Stripes
Stripes never go out of style, but this spring they get an artsy update. Look for updated details like the ones pictured here — delicate scallops and ruffles that add serious personality when paired with crisp white denim.
With their vibrant shades and whimsical patterns, these pieces prove that classic stripes can feel completely new.

Happy Spring, Birmingham!
