Located on the beloved Agricenter campus, the Agricenter Farmers’ Market has provided the community with fresh, local produce and other farm-raised products for 40 years. Here you’ll find more than just fresh fruits and veggies: you’ll also get your hands on local honey, fresh florals, and more. Known as “a Farm in the City,” the Agricenter not only supports growers but also advances agricultural research and education through its many programs. Since 2011, the Bartlett Station Farmers’ Market has been on a mission to provide Memphians with access to healthy, locally grown foods while fostering community between residents, farmers, artisans, and producers. Cooper-Young Community Farmers’ Market

Hernando Farmers’ Market

2026 Season: April 25 through October 31

About 30 minutes from Memphis, in Hernando’s historic town square, you’ll find a smorgasbord of products from local vendors. Fresh fruits and vegetables are just the start. Fresh milk, pork, pasture-raised eggs, local honey, canned and preserved items, herbs, and even fresh salsa and guacamole are also on the menu. While you’re there, pick up a plant for your yard, fresh flowers for your table, and get your knives sharpened while you wait. Beyond the bounty, what really makes this market a must are the experiences, including live music, free wellness classes, and special events during market hours. Before leaving, stop by the market’s outdoor café to enjoy baked goods, coffee, and community.

Lightfoot Farm Market

Set against the vibrant views of the vibrant Millington countryside, Lightfoot Farm is the place to be on the first Saturday of every month. Here you’ll find plenty of farm-fresh foods, handmade goods, and artisan-crafted items. It’s a great place to shop, slow down, and savor the scenery while sampling the goods.

Memphis Farmers’ Market

2026 Season: Every Saturday from April through October

Pastries and pre-made meals are just a taste of what you’ll find at the Memphis Farmers’ Market. This happening hot spot is home to a wide variety of locally sourced goods, including a meat selection worthy of the most mighty grill master. This is also a popular place to park for some of your favorite local food trucks, making it easy to stay fueled and full while you shop.

LOCAL ORCHARDS & FARM STANDS

  • Cedar Hill Farm in Hernando, MS, offers everything from strawberries and blackberries to local honey and free-range eggs. Be sure to visit year-round for fun seasonal events. Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Jones Orchard in Millington, TN, offers fresh produce, including juicy berries, nectarines, plums, and peaches. Bonus? You can enjoy apple picking in the orchard, open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Note: Hours may vary based on the season.)
  • Sweet From the Vine in Cordova, TN, is open seasonally from mid-June through mid-October with an impressive selection of fresh produce, goat’s milk soap, local honey, jams, and preserves. It’s also the place to pick a perfect pumpkin in the fall! The stand is open Thursday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (or until sold out).
