Fall has officially arrived in Nashville, bringing a full slate of local events to enjoy — from food festivals to fundraisers and fun runs. Whether you’re planning a date night or seeking some seasonal thrills, here are our top can’t-miss events this October!

Through October 30, 2025: Cheekwood Harvest

Nashville’s beloved Cheekwood Harvest runs through October 30. Step into Pumpkin Village — featuring 75,000+ pumpkins, blooming chrysanthemums, and three charming pumpkin houses — and explore the Scarecrow Trail with this year’s “A Hint of Haunts” theme. October 1, 2025: BrainTrustLIVE 2025: Let Failure Be Your Fuel

From 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Nashville’s Music City Center hosts BrainTrustLIVE 2025, a transformative conference for women entrepreneurs. Centered around the theme “Let Failure Be Your Fuel,” this full-day event features keynote speaker Sarah Dusek, founder and CEO of Few & Far, along with a lineup of other successful women leaders sharing candid stories of challenges, resilience, and growth. October 3, 2025: RETROspective Rewind

The Adventure Science Center’s RETROspective Rewind, a one-night-only, 21+ event from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., celebrates the center’s 80th anniversary with a mix of science, nostalgia, and nightlife. Guests are encouraged to dress in decade-inspired attire as they enjoy laser shows, old-school games, and vintage gadgets (think Atari consoles). Nashville Opera presents The Shining, a haunting operatic adaptation of Stephen King’s iconic novel, at TPAC’s Jackson Hall. The Southern Festival of Books returns to Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, the Tennessee State Museum, and the State Library & Archives. October 23 – 25, 2025: Artclectic

Artclectic 2025 returns to the University School of Nashville for another year of showcasing the city’s vibrant arts scene. The event features 61 juried artists across a variety of media, with highlights including the Patrons Party on October 23, the ARTbash gallery party on October 24, and Discovery Day with family-friendly activities on October 25. Featured artist Carlos Gamez de Francisco explores themes of power, identity, and gender through vibrant works, and all proceeds benefit USN’s Artclectic Endowment Fund for Innovative Teaching. artclectic.org
