We’re heading into prime crawfish season! To celebrate, we’re highlighting a few of our favorite food trucks and local eateries serving up crawfish with all of the best fixins, plus a list of mudbug-focused festivals to look forward to in April.

Bring the crawfish boil to you with Memphis Mudbugs catering. Whether you’re hosting a party or just looking for an excuse to enjoy some good food with friends and family, this local option serves the greater Memphis area with crawfish sourced straight from Louisiana. The menu includes seasoned (and spicy) crawfish with sides of corn, potatoes, mushrooms, garlic, onions, and sausage.
Be sure to also try the fresh Gulf shrimp or snow crab!

Bayou Bar and Grill

Bayou Bar and Grill offers New Orleans-inspired cuisine, including Cajun favorites like po’ boys, catfish, jambalaya, oysters, and even alligator bites. So, of course, they celebrate crawfish season! They’re kicking off with a crawfish special on March 1 in honor of Mardi Gras weekend — ready by 5 p.m. and available until they run out. Be sure to follow Bayou on Facebook and keep an eye out for more specials throughout the season!

FESTIVALS + EVENTS
April 2, 2026: Wolf River Crawfish Boil
Ducks Unlimited hosts the Wolf River Crawfish Boil on April 2. The event starts at 6 p.m. at the Agricenter ShowPlace Arena, and entry includes one year of a Ducks Unlimited membership, all-you-can-eat crawfish, and all-you-can-drink beverages. Single tickets are $65, and youth and couple’s tickets are also available, along with sponsorship tables. For more information, visit ducksunlimited.myeventscenter.com.
April 11, 2026: 5th Annual Bluebird Nature Fest and Crawfish Boil
Head to Bobby Lanier Farm Park in Germantown for all-you-can-eat crawfish. Pre-registration ($40) is required if you plan to eat and must be completed by April 7. For additional details, visit germantownchamber.com.
April 19, 2026: 33rd Annual Rajun Cajun Crawfish Festival benefiting Porter-Leath
The Rajun Cajun Crawfish Festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in downtown Memphis. The free event includes live music, games, arts and crafts vendors, and more. Learn more at porterleath.org.
April 25, 2026: Overton Square Crawfish Festival
The Overton Square Crawfish Festival is back! Get ready to enjoy delicious local food, beer, live music, local artists, and more. The free event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.
