September brings a change in season, a flurry of fun events, and, hopefully, cooler temperatures. From races and football games to live music and outdoor festivals, there are plenty of ways to get involved in the community this month. Check out this roundup of can’t-miss Memphis events!
Through September 7, 2025: Delta Fair & Music Festival
Taking place at Agricenter International, the Delta Fair & Music Festival offers carnival rides, live entertainment, local vendors, and plenty of fun for the whole family. Adult tickets are $15, while youth, senior, and military tickets are $10. Children ages 4 and under are free. deltafest.com
Through September 30, 2025: California Closets 27th Anniversary Sales Event

September 5, 2025: Art on the Rocks: A Garden Cocktail Festival
Enjoy botanical cocktails, craft beer, and wine at the annual Art on the Rocks event at Dixon Gallery & Gardens. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., you can enjoy a variety of drink tastings and bites from local restaurants as you listen to live music. Plus, this year’s aesthetic is inspired by Pantone’s Color of the Year, Mocha Mousse. September 6 & 19, 2025: Live at the Garden

September 6 & 7, 2025: 52nd Annual Germantown Festival
The annual Germantown Festival includes arts and crafts, kids’ activities, rides, games, live entertainment, car exhibits, community displays, and so much more. The free event is held at the Germantown Civic Club Complex. Event hours are Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m. germantownfest.com
September 7, 2025: Craft Food + Wine Festival
The Craft Food & Wine Festival returns to the Brooks Museum of Art! From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., enjoy tastings from more than 25 local food and drink makers, a souvenir tasting glass and board, and live entertainment. September 13, 2025: 37th Annual Cooper-Young Festival

September 26 – 28, 2025: 53rd Annual Pink Palace Crafts Fair

September 27, 2025: 901 Latin Festival
Latin Fest 901 is a family-friendly festival celebrating Hispanic and Latino arts, culture, and community. From noon to 6 p.m. in Overton Square, the free event features live music, dance performances, traditional foods, cultural booths, kids’ activities, and vendors. cazateatro.org
September 27, 2025: St. Jude Walk/Run
The St. Jude Walk/Run is an annual event that raises money to help St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital continue its work toward ending childhood cancer. September 27, 2025: The Buffalo Run
Presented by Kroger Health, The Buffalo Run at Shelby Farms Park offers both a 5K and 15K option. After the race, keep the fun going at the finish line on the First Horizon Foundation Visitor Center Lawn that overlooks Hyde Lake. September 27 – November 1, 2025: Fall Harvest Festival

September 28, 2025: 6th Annual Memphis Yoga Festival
