Nashville’s food scene has always had a heart, and this spring, it’s serving up more than just delicious food and ambiance. Thursday, May 1, through Monday, May 5, the annual Dining Out For Life® event returns, turning a night out into a powerful show of support for Nashville CARES, the region’s leading organization for HIV education, prevention, and care.

Now in its 40th year, Nashville CARES is celebrating four decades of impact and inviting the community to participate by doing something wonderfully simple: dining out. Nearly 80 restaurants across the city will donate a portion of their proceeds during the week of May 1, with some giving as much as 100% of their sales to support the organization’s vital services.

Some of Music City’s favorite local spots are going big for this event. Just a few of the folks participating:

Whether you’re grabbing brunch with friends, heading out for date night, or picking up your favorite comfort food, it’s a perfect excuse to indulge for a cause. Check out the LONG list of participating local restaurants, coffee shops, and bars (and how much they’re donating) HERE

“Dining Out For Life is more than a fundraising event — it’s a statement of solidarity, visibility, and action,” says Amna Osman, the CEO of Nashville CARES. “By simply enjoying a meal out, our community helps us provide life-saving healthcare, prevention services, and wraparound support to those who need it most.”

Presented by NPS Pharmacy and backed by community-minded sponsors like Cadence Bank, The Nashville Scene, The Nashvillian, St8mnt Brand Agency, and others, the campaign proves that small choices — like where you grab dinner — can have a lasting impact.

Dining Out For Life isn’t just a Nashville thing! It’s a nationwide program that takes place in over 50 cities, raising millions each year to fight HIV. And for us, it’s a reminder that our restaurant community knows how to show up when it counts.
