Step back in time at Hernando’s Dickens of a Christmas, where downtown transforms into a charming Victorian village filled with festive sights, sounds, and holiday cheer. Enjoy the beloved Farmers Market Christmas Market, ice skating, carriage and trolley rides, high tea, Santa photos, live characters, and family-friendly crafts and activities. New this year, explore Tiny Tim’s Village and join the Gingerbread Adventure for even more seasonal fun. Festivities begin Friday, November 21, at 4:30 p.m. with free ice skating, followed by the Christmas Tree Lighting, story time with the mayor, and a cozy movie on the courthouse lawn. The celebration continues Saturday, November 22, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with carriage rides, kids’ activities, costumed townsfolk, and more magical holiday experiences — all free to enjoy in downtown Hernando!
