Traditional Hummus

  • 1 14- ounce can chickpeas rinsed and drained
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 6 sprigs parsley
  • ¼ cup tahini sesame paste
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Add everything to the food processor but olive oil. Pulse four to five times; then add olive oil and process until smooth. Serve with toasted pitas or cut vegetables.
