Executive Chef Nathan Duensing and Sommelier and General Manager Tim Rawding are excited to launch Fêtes des Amis: Celebration of Friends, a series of curated dinner events at the restaurant. This series kicks off next Tuesday, September 12 through Thursday, September 14, leading up to Music City Wine & Food. Tim, Nathan and the team look forward to welcoming industry experts from around the world to spark an ongoing conversation with guests about pairing creative and interesting wines with Marsh House’s elevated take on southern seafood. The dinners will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. each evening at the Marsh House (401 11th Ave S). Reservations are $125 per person and include gratuity and tip.
Tuesday, September 12 – Champagne, Oysters and Beyond
- For the first dinner in the series, Marsh House welcomes Jon David Headrick, importer of French wines from within the Loire Valley, Champagne and beyond who will be pouring champagne from all three of his properties in northern France paired with the Southern oysters and seafood preparations of Marsh House.
Wednesday, September 13 – The Withers: Northern California Wines, Family Style
- Andrew Tow, owner of the Withers Winery, a featured wine for Music City Food and Wine, is excited to share his assortment of Northern California wines as we all gather around the tables of Marsh House. The Withers is nationally renowned for their Pinot Noir and Rose bottlings, and now we are excited to try expressions of Chardonnay, Syrah and more!
Thursday, September 14 – Chablis & Beaujolais, The Forgotten Gems of Burgundy
- The Sommelier team at Marsh House is thrilled at the opportunity to highlight two of the forgotten gems of Burgundy, Chablis and Beaujolais. With the cuisine of Chef Nathan Duensing covering both the Southern sea and land, Sommeliers Tim Rawding and Todd Johnston will duel it out as they each represent their coveted corner of Burgundy.
