For the first time in over a year, the Nashville Symphony welcomes live music back to Schermerhorn Symphony Center. The Summer Chamber Music Series begins Friday, May 28, and runs until Saturday, June 26. The program on Friday, June 4, features performances of “Andante Cantabile” from Florence Price’s “String Quartet in A Minor,” “IV. Cumbia y Congo” from William Grant Still’s “Danzas de Panama,” and “The Hunt” from W. A. Mozart’s “String Quartet in B-flat Major, K. 458.” The event begins at 7 p.m. and is free to attend.
