Designing the New: Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the Glasgow Style is an immersive exhibition that showcases the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh — an architect, designer, and artist — and other Glasgow artists. The exhibit features 165 works of fine and decorative art in a variety of media, including architectural drawings, books, ceramics, furniture, posters, textiles, and watercolors, drawn from Glasgow’s most significant public and private collections. The exhibit begins Friday, June 11, at the Frist Art Museum, and continues through Sunday, September 12. Admission is free for those 18 and under and museum members. Adult tickets are $15.
