Bethany Collins: Evensong is an exhibition of multimedia works that explores the historic intersection of language and race. Using publications like dictionaries, newspapers and government reports, Chicago artist Bethany Collins finds words or phrases that reflect a cultural ethos, particularly those related to racial and national identities. The exhibit begins Friday, June 11, at the Frist Art Museum, and continues through Sunday, September 12. Admission is free for those 18 and under and museum members. Adult tickets are $15.
