From Friday, July 23, through Sunday, October 10, head to Nashville’s Frist Art Museum to see its new exhibition from Kara Walker, Cut to the Quick. The exhibit features over 80 pieces, ranging from prints to drawings, paintings and large-scale silhouette cutouts, and explores topics like slavery, sexism, violence and imperialism. This is Kara’s first solo exhibition at the Frist Art Museum.
