NASHVILLE — MAY 19: 120th Annual Spring Outing

December 30, 2020 by StyleBlueprint

Date: Wednesday, May 19, 2021
Time: Noon to 1 p.m.
Location: This is a virtual event
Cost: Standard ticket, $75; Patron’s ticket: $125

The Hermitage’s Spring Outing event began in the early days of the Ladies’ Hermitage Association as a picnic on the mansion’s lawn. Now, the annual event has evolved into one of The Hermitage’s major events that features nationally known speakers who present on a variety of topics, such as politics and history. This year’s program, “Glimpses of My Grandfather, The President,” offers stories, insight and perspective from the oldest grandson of President Harry S. Truman, Clifton Truman Daniel. The festivities take place virtually on Wednesday, May 19, and tickets begin at $75. All proceeds benefit the Andrew Jackson Foundation’s many education programs and preservation projects. thehermitage.com
