The Event: Fall Harvest Dinner

Benefitting the Horticulture Society of Middle Tennessee, The Fall Harvest Dinner is hosted at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens in the Robert Ellison Color Garden amongst the breathtaking sculptures by artist James Plensa. The evening includes fabulous cocktails and bourbon tastings, live bluegrass music and a delicious seasonally-inspired dinner.
What to wear? It’s recommended that you dress for al fresco dining, and while this is not a formal event, it’s a chance to have fun with fall’s latest fashions. Take a look at these ideas from SOCA.

Each year the YWCA of Nashville honors women of outstanding character, leadership and community activism at their Academy for Women of Achievement Dinner and Induction. They also honor an outstanding organization that has demonstrated commitment to its female employees. This year’s dinner takes place in the gorgeous Omni Hotel.
What to wear? Dress for this event is business casual. Try a sophisticated pant and top, or perhaps a sleeved dress. Get inspiration from these outfits at K. McCarthy, which newly hopped from a mobile truck to a bricks and mortar location, right upstairs from Sugar Dive!

Hosted annually by the University School of Nashville, Artclectic is a fantastic art event that showcases local, regional and emerging talent in a festive gallery setting. You can purchase a ticket to the Patrons Party on Thursday night (which guarantees admission to Friday night’s ArtBash) or purchase a ticket to the Friday ArtBash which includes a gallery party, light fare and a cash bar. Saturday is open to the public and includes POPclectic, a special market which puts lots of affordable, handmade items at your fingertips!
