After a seemingly endless span of bad weather, we are ready to shed some layers and show a little skin! Today, we highlight some great events in the coming month that give you an excuse to purchase a full new outfit or to reinvent what’s already in your wardrobe with a few fresh pieces. We’ve enlisted our friends at Jamie, J. McLaughlin and Stacey Rhodes Boutique to show you what to wear this spring, whether you are attending a formal affair or listening to a laid-back music set at a local venue. So mark your calendars for these occasions!

The event: Best Buddies Gala & Casino — Friday, March 6

Purchase tickets to this casino-themed event and help support Best Buddies, an inspiring nonprofit organization that creates leadership and friendship opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The annual gala’s festivities include cocktails, a silent auction, and gaming and gambling, of course! Hosted at the luxurious Omni Hotel, this event promises appearances from some of Nashville’s most esteemed athletes, coaches, artists and creative legends. To purchase tickets or to purchase a table, click here.

The Best Buddies Gala & Casino is a semiformal event, so a cocktail dress or a tasteful top and pant combo is ideal. Don’t be afraid to jazz up your outfit with a textured clutch, a colorful wrap or some statement jewelry. This is a Vegas-inspired evening, after all!
