So whether you are looking to continue attending your favorite Pilates class or you’re interested in trying a new fitness option within the comfort of your own home, here are some Nashville businesses that are offering virtual fitness classes.
Nashville Studios Offering Virtual Fitness Classes
Nashville Pilates Company
Nashville Pilates Company empowers individuals and helps them be in control of their well-being. The studio now offers virtual fitness classes seven days a week on Zoom. The Pilates Garage
The Pilates Garage, which offers both private and group reformer classes, now offers virtual fitness classes. Simply sign up via Zoom, and you will be emailed the meeting ID before the class begins. Classes focus on arms, abs, cardio and HIIT, and participants can sign up using MINDBODY.
Well Body Pilates
Well Body Pilates takes a contemporary approach to a traditional form of exercise and is getting even more modern with its virtual fitness classes and private sessions. Individual classes are $10, and two weeks of unlimited virtual courses is $49. Individuals can sign up through MINDBODY.
Willow Pilates Studio
Since 1999, Willow Pilates Studio has been committed to honoring traditional Pilates while also maintaining fresh techniques. Now, with Nashville’s Safer at Home order, Willow is once again showing its innovation by offering virtual fitness classes every day of the week, and participants can sign up on MINDBODY. Classes start at $10.
Inner Light Yoga
Inner Light Yoga is not your typical yoga studio. Classes are accompanied by the studio’s carefully curated Spotify playlists, and now we can bring these fun workouts into our homes. NuPower Yoga & Barre
NuPower Yoga and Barre is another option for virtual classes. Visit the studio’s website to see a full list of options being offered, which include yoga, barre and circuit classes. Virtual memberships are also available for $45 per month.
Shakti Power Yoga
Sisters Kelly Farina-Carter and Lauren Farina founded Shakti Power Yoga in 2012 based on gratitude, growth and community. Offering a variety of yoga classes at different levels, now individuals can tone muscles, burn body fat and increase flexibility from their own living rooms. The yoga studio offers meditations and yoga classes through Instagram and Zoom. Instagram livestreams are free to attend, and individual Zoom classes start at $10.
Steadfast & True Yoga
Steadfast & True Yoga works to make yoga accessible for everyone and is continuing to do so with virtual classes. After all, what’s a better way to take a break from working from home than with some yoga? Drop-in classes are $10, and Steadfast & True members can use their current class packages as well. Created by Sumit Banerjee, Sumits Yoga focuses on not only a stronger body but an improved state of mind as well. The Nashville location now offers virtual classes for autodebit members and current class pack holders in a private Facebook group.
Camp Gladiator is typically a four-week group fitness boot camp with each workout, or “camp,” lasting about an hour. With the recent pandemic, Camp Gladiator now offers a six-week virtual workout challenge for $39. The series features live classes with professional trainers, access to the Camp Gladiator App with over 9,500 workout videos, and it allows participants to communicate with other attendees. Iron Tribe helps members become the best version of themselves through fitness and nutrition. Plus, personal coaches are available to give members special attention and encouragement. Now Iron Tribe studios are bringing this warm environment to homes with “remote tribe” workouts. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a beginner, Orangetheory Fitness delivers noticeable and lasting fitness results. Although all Orangetheory studios are currently closed, this promise is still being held. Each day, a free 30-minute workout is posted on the Orangetheory website. While the routines do not require any fancy workout equipment, you may have to search your house for an odd object or two.
As the only Lagree Fitness studio in Music City, Studio Novo is truly one of a kind. This type of exercise uses slow, controlled movements to achieve maximum muscle strength. Although the studio doesn’t have a set schedule for virtual fitness classes, it has released a few videos on Instagram and has plans to release more in the coming weeks.
