Crafted from leather, this statement-making flower applique adds a unique touch to a traditional belt. Pair it with patterns, as shown here, or jazz up a simple dress. The Precious One
Did you read When Loved Walked In or Belong to Me? If not, add them to your list. If so, you will be giddy to hear that Marisa de los Santos’ newest novel, The Precious One, will be released on March 24! Add it to your book club list, your bedside table or Kindle. Our anticipation grew stronger as we read The April 2015 Indie Next List Preview and found The Precious One there with this review: “In The Precious One, de los Santos offers a tale of family secrets, love, rejection and forgiveness. The point of view shifts between two half-sisters who have met only once in 16 years: Taisy Cleary, now 35, and 16-year-old Willow. Why would their father bring his daughters together now, after he has kept them apart for all these years? The story is both warmly funny and heartbreaking, as the two sisters share their perceptions and insights into the man who abandoned his first family. This is a thoroughly enjoyable read!” —Fran Duke, Where the Sidewalk Ends, Chatham, MA.
Again, the release date is March 24 and as always, this brand new book will be 20 percent off at locally owned BookmanBookwoman in Hillsboro Village.
