We are always delighted by the fabulous decor we find at Cadeau Nashville in 12South. This marble and brass tic-tac-toe set is not only a chic table accessory, but it’s also a fun game to have on hand when entertaining guests. We couldn’t resist putting this on our February list, a month filled with lots of x’s and o’s! $195
Whimsical and eye-catching, these small porcelain containers make the perfect gift for a hostess or special friend. We can think of oodles of uses from a receptacle for small earrings to salt on your dinner table. Great conversation starters, these small vessels will be cherished for years to come. Animal print is often a topic of fashion debate, but we consider it a must-have! We sampled these scrumptious tapenades and have been dreaming about them since. Layering (or not!) necklaces
With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, pretty much every woman we know would be giddy to get some jewelry, but not everyone wants traditional jewelry. Maybe a better umbrella will change our outlook on all the rain that keeps pouring down. This compact, yet snazzy, umbrella made us smile with the adorable rabbit’s head. We spotted these at Stitch It & Co. in Green Hills. $50
New artist at The Arts Company
We saw a photo of John Petrey’s work on The Arts Company’s Instagram feed, and we saw one up close at The Antiques & Garden Show this past weekend. Wow! His Dress Series of sculptures is fabulous! If you have the funds and are in need of a three-dimensional piece of art, consider heading to see some of Petrey’s work up close at Nashville’s Art Crawl this Saturday, February 7.
