Redheaded Stranger Opens in Nashville

July 12, 2019 by Abigail Shipps

If you’re a fan of Willie Nelson, have red hair, or just like TexMex food, we have some good news for you. Redheaded Stranger, named for the owner’s favorite Willie Nelson album, is an “honest-to-goodness TexMex eatery” that recently opened in Nashville. Chef Bryan Lee Weaver and restaurateur Michael Shemtov came together with this Texas-inspired hot spot. The menu includes tacos served on house-made flour tortillas, a Hatch green chile burger, and daily specials like Frito pie. Additionally, the restaurant has a full bar and locally roasted coffee from Stay Golden, also in Nashvillle. If you like Southwest-inspired food (and especially if you have red hair), “you’re in the right place.”
