Dogs. They wag their way into our hearts and then have us wrapped around their paws for life. As members of the family, they should be treated as such … and then some! Luckily, there are plenty of dog boutiques around Nashville that allow you to pamper, spoil and indulge your canine companion. Here are some of our favorite local pet boutiques that are worth a visit.

This Belle Meade pet store paradise offers an array of fun and entertaining finds for both you and your pet. When you walk into this cute boutique, you’ll be greeted by Bodhi and Kai, the owner’s fuzzy friends. And if you have your pup with you, one of the dogs will actually grab a bag of treats in his mouth and bring it over to you both. That’s serious customer service! Besides bringing your dog a treat upon arrival, Bodhi and Kai work as the quality control technicians for the store’s goods, ensuring your dog will enjoy the very best. Ruff life, huh? (Sorry, we had to!)
Come.sit.stay has chew toys with a side of humor, such as “Chewnel” purses, shoes by “Vera Wag” and “Stella Muttcartney” and canine cocktail chew toys like Skinnydog, Barkardi, Grrrona Mexican Beer and Cristail. In addition to toys of all types, you’ll find bow ties, a large selection of collars and leashes, beds, bowls and edibles.

At Crossroads Pets, you can both shop AND adopt. This Germantown nonprofit relies on the local community to help save the animals they house, and their pet store offers everything to keep your dog or cat happy and healthy, including a large selection of nutritious foods, amusing toys, scrumptious treats and pet accessories.
Their pet store sells must-have items at a variety of price points. One item that caught our eye is the cooling gel pads, which keep pets comfortable on the hottest late-summer days. And the frozen yogurt for dogs is satisfying, as well! Browse a large selection of pet beds, sparkly collars and local brands, like Earth Dog, Farm Dog Naturals, Houndgear, Poo Doo Leash and Spoil Me S’mo.
The Crossroads self-dog wash operates on an easy-to-use dial system, and it also comes with assistance from their job-training interns if you run into any trouble. If you don’t want to wash your dog yourself, they also have professional grooming services seven days a week.
Looking to adopt? The folks at Crossroads Pets care for dogs and cats who have run out of time at animal control. Instead of being put down, Crossroads Pets saves them and gives them a home until they are adopted, offering a relaxing atmosphere for potential owners to meet adoptable cats and dogs.
