The stores featured today truly stand out locally as jewelry destinations where you can find gorgeous keepers that fit this season’s trends. Talking to the store owners, we found out that shiny gold is back, jewelry with fringe is in (we know you’ve noticed all the tassels over the past year!), bigger earrings are making a comeback, long necklaces continue to be sought after, and rings are still holding on as statement pieces that women love to have. We stopped by Anatra Jewel, AshBlue, Cindi Earl, Gus Mayer, JAMIE, Judith Bright, MODA and Margaret Ellis, and we’re excited to share with you what we found.
Anatra Jewel

For further details, see the Anatra SB Guide page here.
Anatra’s owner, Maria Fouce, pointed out that shiny gold is back and one way to embrace this look is via stacked rings—stunning! You can add some shiny gold rings to some other stackable rings you have or purchase a few new ones to wear together. The rings featured below are from the Anatra Collection and are sure to make your hands happy! This look works well for all ages.

These rings are gold, diamonds and gemstones. Find your perfect color or several colors. $350 each at Anatra Jewel

These rings are not a complete loop, giving them a modern vibe. Made with gold and diamonds, these range from $230 to $395 at Anatra Jewel. You can also split them up to wear on different fingers for a youthful look.
AshBlue
2170 Bandywood Drive
Nashville, TN 37215

AshBlue is our go-to place in Nashville for horn jewelry. No, it’s not made out of actual horn, but resin with markings to mimic the organic nature of horn. Horn jewelry goes so well with fall colors and is an easy way to “finish” your outfit. A brand new shipment of horn jewelry just arrived at AshBlue, so now is the perfect time to stock up on a cuff, a necklace or a pair of earrings with lots of options from which to choose. While you are there, you can drool over the wide selection of jewelry AshBlue has, as about 20 percent of their spacious store is devoted just to jewelry. It comes in all price ranges from “just because” to “I’ll start saving for that!”

Horn pieces at AshBlue have just arrived, so stop in soon for the largest selection from which to choose. This necklace is $138 and the cuff is just $65.

Here is a close-up of the cuff above so you can really appreciate the added crystal piece. $65 at AshBlue
Cindi Earl
5101 Harding Pike
Nashville, TN 37205
For further details, see the Cindi Earl SB Guide page here.
Owner Cindi Earl picked out two pieces that are affordable and make a statement. Both are silver with white topaz, so they create the look of diamonds without the expense. The Jude Francis cuff below is beautiful on its own or mixed with other bracelets for the layered look of arm candy that we continue to love. The ring is such a fun piece from a new line at Cindi Earl called “Kin, we are all connected.” With either piece, or both, you’ll have pieces that will be worn time and time again not only this season, but year-round.

This silver and white topaz Jude Francis cuff is $450 and is found at Cindi Earl. There is an upcoming Jude Francis trunk show in October. Watch our Events/Happenings sections for details!

This “Kin, we are all connected” Rhodium-finished silver piece is just $125 at Cindi Earl. See how the four silver and white topaz rings are connected and then form one ring? Fun symbolism for families of four (or if you have four kids?), as well as just a very cool piece for everyone else!
Gus Mayer
2113 Green Hills Village Drive
Nashville, TN 37215
(Note this address is about to change, as they are in the middle of their HUGE moving sale, with many prices 60 percent to 90 percent off. Find Gus Mayer soon in the old Chico’s location across the parking lot near Venetian Nail Spa.)
For further details, see the Gus Mayer SB Guide page here
Gus Mayer’s manager, Beth Franklin, picked out this gorgeous Lisa Aronow turquoise long necklace for a piece of jewelry that epitomizes today’s contemporary look. As Beth says, “The black and turquoise color combination is seasonless and adds the perfect punch of color to all the neutrals we’re seeing this fall. The blackened silver layers well with gold and silver jewelry and the tassel is right on trend for this fall and winter season.”

This Lisa Aronow blackened silver with turquoise necklace creates the perfect layering piece for fall and any season. Find this at Gus Mayer for $1,248.
This next necklace, at a lower price point, also shows off the tassel trend. Beth says, “This is a great piece for right now because the gray and taupe tones of the agate will work beautifully with all of those neutrals I was just talking about. For warmer fall days, these colors really anchor a lighter weight summer top to help transition from summer to fall. And if the cooler weather ever gets here, add it to a gray, brown or black outfit for interest and to keep things from being too dark or monochromatic. Also, I love the richness of the horse hair tassel.”

This Lisa Aronow crazy lace agate bead necklace with a Tibetan quartz point and horse hair tassel is found at Gus Mayer for $289

Under the ownership of Mclaine Richardson, we’ve loved watching the Margaret Ellis brand continue to grow and inspire. As we looked at her current collection, the mixed metal statement pieces all stood out and it was hard to choose just a couple to showcase. Remember, all of these pieces are handmade in her Cummins Station studio. Both this necklace and ring are ones we’d happily wear during the work week and on the weekend. They’d be sitting by our bathroom sink ready to put on at a moment’s notice!

This one necklace features three chains, each of a different size and color, making for one statement necklace that you’ll wear again and again. $825 at Margaret Ellis Jewelry

This is called the “negative space” ring but everything else about it is totally positive! Wear with your pearls, your diamonds, your gunmetal … this works with it all! $445 at Margaret Ellis Jewelry
