How do I love thee? Let me count the ways: with my jeans, my shorts, and my skirts; V-necked, scooped necked, crew necked, capped sleeves, 3/4 length, long sleeved, bell sleeved, tulip sleeved and whatever else sleeved there is; Balloon hem, hip length, tunic, and tank.
White tee, White tee, never leave me!
“Perfect tee” “Tissue tee” “Ringspun tee” “Knit tee” ”Favorite tee” “Whisper Thin tee” ”Shine tee” “Supima tee” “Layering tee”
White tee, White tee, how many choices you offer me!
OK- I admit that I really was never a tee shirt kind of gal. I was a blouse girl in high school. But, in college I really liked the tee in various colors and prints. With the birth of my first child I fell in love. What would a white tee NOT handle? I could look polished with the right jewelry… and it hid spit up. My love affair continues to this day as a good white tee is acceptable at work, at play, for a walk and then paired with your flannel bottoms at bed time.
Michael Stars, hands down. But be wary of the white and ivory shine tees. I think they are way too sheer. But, while these are my favorite brand, they are one size fits most and thus don’t fit everyone. So look around and find your tee. Many of my friends swear by the Three Dots brand. It’s worth the search. The Gap, J Crew, Ann Taylor, www.myshape.com, Anthropologie are all good bets. But, check the Nashville boutiques. They have a great variety out there and stock up.
