Watch the moon rise over Percy Priest Lake while paddle boarding! It is a magical experience to surround yourself with 360 degrees of uninterrupted nature beneath a full moon. Launch from Nashville Paddle Company’s lakeside boathouse at sunset and casually paddle around the peaceful lake for 90 minutes.

Price varies depending on whether you rent a standard paddle board, a board with LED Glow Lights, a kayak (single or tandem), or bring your own vessel. Full Moon Paddle events take place during each full moon through September.

More info: owlshill.org

The full moon hike at Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary, also known as Summer Owl Prowls, is so much more than just a hike. When the stars come out, explore constellations, planets, and even meteors. Non-releasable owl ambassadors will be around to teach visitors about the adaptations that help nocturnal animals survive. The easy, one-mile hike takes place after this experience, where trekkers can continue listening to the night’s wonders. No flashlights allowed.

The Summer Owl Prowls take place on each full moon, June through August, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person.
