I love a summer handbag, so this post has been the most fun to write.
If I had a complaint it would be this: there are too many choices of wonderful bags! Once the list was made I just kept finding more and more! If you’re in purchase mode, I will say this: if a bag SCREAMS summer, don’t spend a fortune on it. Now, “fortune” changes depending on who you talk to. But, for your own budget, no matter what it may be, consider spending the least amount of money on the most narrowly used handbag in your closet. Save your money for the handbags that last through several seasons, style transitions and can be reached for both morning and night. (Plus, I don’t know about you, but I tend to trash my summer bags like nothing else, so less expensive seems to work better for me.) BUT… if I could just go buy what I wanted -all for less than $1,000- I would consider these:
