Libro at Laurelwood
Sabine Bachmann is the founder and owner of both Fratelli’s inside Memphis Botanic Garden and ECCO on Overton Park, located in the Evergreen Historic District. The newest addition to the family is Libro at Laurelwood, located inside the Novel bookstore. Specialties include Italian inspired dishes with southern roots, hand crafted cocktails and homemade pasta. Sabine along with her two sons, John-Paul and Armando, are the masterminds behind the concept at Libro. John-Paul is a Business Management graduate and the General Manager at both restaurants. He strives to bring the best of southern hospitality and hard work to each location . Armando is the Head Chef at Libro. Armando grew up learning the ins and outs of cooking from Sabine, he then graduated from the Italian Culinary Institute and now expresses his knowledge, mastered skill and creativity in the dishes at the family restaurant. Each dish has been beautifully crafted and provides a culinary experience that is one for the books!
