Outdoor rugs
One corner of The Urban Gardener is filled with a selection of colorful outdoor rugs made of recycled plastic. Add a bit of indoor comfort to any outdoor setting. A range of colors, patterns and sizes are available: 4’ x 6’ rugs are $55, 5’ x 8’ rugs are $95 and 6’ x 9’ rugs are $125.

We lit up when we spotted these wood beaded chandeliers at the Southern Avenue Company. These versatile, moderately sized fixtures would add updated, natural charm to a variety of rooms. They are $240.95 each.

Tableware
Who can deny the convenient tradition of a lazy Susan? We discovered this one at Chestnut Hall in their At the Cabin collection, in which rustic furniture and accessories handcrafted in the USA take center stage. This lazy Susan was made by Amish craftsmen in Holmes County, OH, and is $125.

Brooms
As part of Bingham & Broad’s mission to support local artisans, they offer a plentiful assortment of handmade brooms made by Sticks & Straw in Collierville, TN. This small, creative business uses antique equipment that predates 1900, and these would be an original housewarming gift. Inquire about custom-made options in your favorite colors, $12 to $45.

Picnic
Sucre Shop birch wood utensils and Adjust-a-Bowl cork bowls are perfect for a biodegradable, renewable picnic. The utensils come in packs of 20 for $12; the antimicrobial, water- and stain-resistant cork bowls can be shaped, folded, rolled and tossed in the dishwasher. For the dog days of summer, treat your best friend to a Mississippi Made custom dog bed. The Wiseacre Brewing Co. raises the bar on taste and appearance with its assortment of colorfully canned brews. Why cans? They travel well, are recyclable and have less breakage.
