Well, you cannot actually party “with” the animals, because that could get dangerous! But you can invite some of your own species to join you at the Memphis Zoo this fall.
It is the best time of year to visit the zoo. The temperatures are typically more inviting, and with school in session the weekdays are pleasantly un-crowded. If you are a zoo member (a basic membership pays for itself in just two visits!) the zoo can even be your perfect setting for a routine, scenic stroll.
Two of the zoo’s biggest annual fundraisers, Zoo Brew and Zoo Rendezvous, are coming up, as well. Area chefs, entertainers and businesses with support from the talented zoo staff will present two memorable evenings in honor of the Memphis Zoo—a crown jewel for the city, Memphis’s highest attended attraction, and the top zoo in the country according to independent surveys (how about that, Memphis!).
