Enjoy music by Almost Famous, Hollywood and DJ Mark Anderson in the Continental Ballroom, or head to the Corner Bar to catch the Rene Koopman Duo. Upgrade to a $125 VIP ticket for hors d’oeuvres, Champagne, valet parking and access to the Stella Artois VIP Lounge.
Rock 2016 in with style at the Madison Hotel. Ring in 2016 with 1524 Events and 3Chix & a Party — and rock some Chuck Taylors with your sequins! This NYE throwdown at 1524 Madison Ave. starts at 9 p.m., and tickets cost $27.37 to $37.92 here. Along with food and Champagne, this party touts the “livest entertainment,” so you really might want to check that out.
For local brews and low-key fun, head to Wiseacre in the Broad Avenue Arts District, where there’s always a good time. The taproom opens at 1 p.m., and the El Mero Taco food truck will be parked out back. Start the night at 5:30 p.m. for a regularly scheduled taproom tour, or just swing by to hang out or pregame. And remember, the taproom is cash-free, so be sure to bring plastic.
Late-night parties and New Year’s Day hangovers not your bag? If you’re looking for a way to hang with the mini-mes on New Year’s, join CMOM for a New Year’s Eve party that takes you and the fam “to infinity and beyond.” This Buzz Lightyear-themed event includes contests, scavenger hunts, face painting, balloon art, crafts and more. After a special New Year’s Eve countdown and balloon drop, the kiddos can enjoy a goodie toss and dance party! The fun takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is $15 for nonmembers and free to museum members.
Get Your Groove On
Head to the New Daisy on Beale, where the party starts at 9 p.m. and ends when the sun comes up. You’ll catch a performance by 12th Planet, and tickets start at $15.30. It’s a great way to get out of the cold on Beale!

Want a low-key, classic Memphis New Year’s? All Huey’s locations around town are offering free party favors and Champagne toasts at midnight. Enjoy live music at the Midtown, Germantown and Cordova locations from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Collierville, your party ends early at 10 p.m. (Gotta get those kids to bed!) But Downtowners take heart, because your Huey’s is rocking till 3 a.m. All other locations are open normal business hours.
Dine in style this New Year’s Eve with a four-course, prix fixe menu including a Champagne toast from 5 to 11 p.m. Ask your server for NYE menu offerings, or order from a modified eighty3 menu. If you choose to get a room, the featured menu is also available for in-room dining. The cost is $75 for adults, plus tax and tip. The price includes valet parking.
