It’s getting harder and harder with every passing day to pick an outfit that doesn’t cause melting like a popsicle. Dresses and skirts are basically the only thing we’ve been wearing to combat this steamy humidity. The evenings seem the only pleasurable time of the day during these past weeks of summer.
We’ve dedicated our August What to Wear post to casual, evening events that are (for the most part) family friendly. So what are these great evening events you ask? Shania Twain “Rock This Country Tour,” Brew at the Zoo, and the Foxhollow Farm Sunset Concert Series. We’ve chosen some breezy summer outfits to keep you cool from The Shirt Shop, J. McLaughlin, and Blu Boutique, and Dress & Dwell.
The Event: Shania Twain “Rock This Country Tour”, August 3
All you Shania Twain fans out there, this is your chance to see the country pop queen herself at the YUM! Center! The “Rock This Country Tour” (queue the song) is Twain’s first time back on the stage in over eleven years. Grab your girlfriends for a night full of belting out oldies like “Man, I Feel Like A Woman” and “Come On Over.” With Gavin DeGraw as the opening performance, this will be one show you most certainly will not want to miss.
