It seems like just yesterday we were making our 2013 New Year’s Eve plans. Now the time has come once again to decide how to end 2014 and waltz into 2015. La Coop Bistro a Vins
Ring in the New Year with a last hurrah at La Coop Bistro a Vins as they serve their final meal: they’re closing for good on January 1, 2015. Ring in the New Year with your favorite celebrities by the glass. Louvino is serving up a special four-course, small plate dinner to end 2014. This special NYE menu looks quite decadent, with everything from octopus, short ribs and crab to chocolate ganache beignets and bananas Foster brownies. Cost is $70 per person, plus $30 per person for a wine pairing with each course. Your favorite beer garden, Holy Grale, is hosting a delicious, six-course dinner menu by Chef Josh Lehman designed to take you around the world one last time before 2015. Starting at 7:30 p.m. and for $100 per person, enjoy your dinner with beer and cider pairings, music and dancing, and end the evening with a celebratory beer for the midnight toast. Bristol Bar & Grille
Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Bristol Bar & Grille in Jeffersonville, IN. For $180 per person, you can enjoy the evening of Wines from Around the World: a five-course meal with six different wine tastings from countries like Argentina, Australia and France paired by Master Sommelier Scott Harper. Beginning at 8 p.m., hors d’oeuvres paired with an Italian Brut will be served and will continue at 8:30 p.m., with dishes like house-smoked chicken, short ribs and a chocolate-nut gâteau dessert. Cena Italian Trattoria
Whether you’re a frequent Cena diner or new to the Cena scene, their four-course, New Year’s Eve dinner is the perfect Italian meal for your December 31. Each guest will be treated to four off the menu courses, including (but not limited to) pancetta-wrapped stuffed dates, prosciutto and pear salad, steak Rossini and goat cheese flan for $50. Enjoy New Year’s Eve with a fine dining experience at Volare. They’re serving a limited version of their traditional menu with a champagne toast at midnight. Spend your New Year’s Eve at Lilly’s Bistro, where you are always guaranteed to have a delicious meal. Everything from duck, oysters, veal, lobster, filets, lamb and more are on the menu. To make a reservation, call (502) 451-0447 or visit them on OpenTable.
Finish out 2014 at MilkWood, where Chef Kevin Ashworth is whipping up a whole roast BBQ suckling pig and whole Chinese-style roast ducks, which will be carved on the bar and then brought to your table, family-style. This festive meal will be served for $28 per person in addition to MilkWood’s regular menu. Splits of Lamberti Prosecco Extra Dry will also be available for $15, for one night only. Proof on Main
Proof on Main has several New Year’s Eve options, with everything from dinner to dancing to an overnight stay in their luxurious hotel. • Proof on Main Dinner
Grab an early bite before hitting the town for your New Year’s Eve celebrations. Proof on Main will be serving their a la carte menu from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Then starting at 8 p.m., Chef Levon Wallace will be presenting a prix fixe four-course dinner for $140 per person. This special dinner also includes party favors and a ticket to the 21c Atrium NYE bash (information below).
• Atrium NYE Bash
This swanky evening of dancing and bubbly, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., will be $55 per person, which includes two cocktails, and a balloon drop and champagne toast at midnight. A cash bar is also available. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance online.
Galt House Hotel

• Chicago New Year’s Eve party
Enjoy an evening of Chicago-themed dinner and dancing in the Galt House Hotel grand ballroom with their Chicago New Year’s Eve party from 6:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. The Underboss Package includes a reception starting at 6:30 p.m., an expansive buffet dinner, dance party, midnight champagne toast and complimentary self-parking for $129 per person. Celebrate the end of 2014 25 stories up at the Cotton Club New Year’s Eve affair at the RIVUE Restaurant & Lounge. Enjoy a romantic dinner for two with reservations at 6 p.m. or 9 p.m. for $275. Dinner includes a choice of: an appetizer or soup, dinner salad, entrée, special NYE dessert and a beverage (alcoholic beverages are not included in the ticket price). As you await your dinner, listen to the evening’s live entertainment with a band and tap and swing dancers. Finally, celebrate the beginning of a new year with a champagne toast at midnight.
