It’s the season of giving, and we are all in the shopping mood. We love having the extra options of all the pop-up shops around town, which offer those perfect little extras. Here’s a list of the current pop-up shops where you can grab some locally made, locally sourced items to finish off your holiday shopping.

KMAC Pop-Up Shop

  • Kicks off with Martinis and Mistletoe
  • Thursday through Sunday, December 3-20
  • 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Join the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft tonight for their annual evening of holiday shopping, music and special recipe martinis. Martinis and Mistletoe will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. and is the kick-off to the KMAC Holiday Pop-Up Shop, which takes place Thursday through Sunday through December 20, and features a collection of locally made goods selected by Julia Comer, shop manager. Miscellaneous Goods Co.

  • Unique gifts
  • December 4-5 and December 11-13
  • At Forest Giant and Oxmoor Center

The result of a massively successful kickstarter campaign, Miscellaneous Goods Co. offers a variety of great gift ideas, such as unique playing cards, ceramic flasks, wallets and more. Find them at Forest Giant at 5828 Frankfort Ave. on December 4-5, and then the shop pops into Oxmoor Center (7900 Shelbyville Road, Louisville) for a three-day stay December 11-13.

Flea Off Market

  • December 5-6 and December 19
  • 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • East Market District of Downtown

The Flea Off Market is a monthly pop-up artisan market and one of Louisville’s favorite venues to shop local. This month’s market will be held in the East Market District of Downtown from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, and Sunday, December 6. Expect to find vintage jewelry, books, records and fine art, among other treasures. And if you can’t make it this weekend, you can still shop the Flea on Saturday, December 19, at Holiday Bazaar at Bowman Field. For more information on either one, visit facebook.com.

Family Scholar House Pop-Up Shop

  • Gift collection program for families in need
  • At Westport Village through December 5
  • Adopt a family member for $50

In the midst of all the holiday shopping madness, take a moment and give back to those in need. The Adopt-A-Family holiday gift collection program is operating through Saturday, December 5, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Westport Village. People can adopt a family member for $50, pick up their wish list and drop off their donations through December 5. Wish lists include both needs and wants for each family member. Christmas Gift & Decor Show

  • More than 700 vendors

One of the country’s largest, free admission Christmas and decor shows is right here in Louisville. In addition to plenty of family-friendly activities and free pictures with Santa, shop from more than 700 vendor booths offering crafts, jewelry, toys, etc. Hours are Friday, December 11, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, December 12, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday, December 13, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. The Umpteenth Annual $20 Art Sale

  • Saturday, December 12
  • 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Art for $20

This year marks the 15th year of the Umpteenth Annual $20 Art Sale. This is the perfect opportunity to get unique Christmas presents. The show will be held Saturday, December 12, at 1121 E. Washington St. from 6 to 9 p.m. There will be more than 30 artists in attendance selling their pieces for no more and no less than $20. For more information, visit facebook.com.

Betty Jeffries

This local mobile clothing and accessories boutique provides working women with quality, comfort and pristine apparel. The pop-up Betty Jeffries boutique is slated to be open at Oxmoor Center (7900 Shelbyville Road) through December 31.

Country Club Prep

Country Club Prep is a one-stop, online retailer for preppy apparel, offering favorite all-American brands, including Sperry, Vineyard Vines, Jack Rogers and Southern Tide, plus up-and-coming designers like Lauren James, Mahi Gold and Sail to Sable. They will be set up in Oxmoor Center through December 31.

Fan Heaven

  • Sports-themed gifts
  • At Oxmoor Center through December 31
  • Great stocking stuffers
  • 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

This college-themed shop offers gifts and apparel, such as Tervis cups, stadium blankets, picture frames, neckties and more. These gifts would make the perfect stocking stuffers for any sports fan. This pop-up shop will be around the mall through the end of the year.

Holyland Olivewood

  • Handmade items

  • Variety of price points
  • 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Holyland Olivewood offers religious-themed gifts handmade and blessed in Jerusalem. Ranging from $5 all the way up to $1,500, these gifts would be perfect for anyone this holiday season. Holyland Olivewood will be at Mall St. Matthews (5000 Shelbyville Road) through December 31.
