July is bound to be hot, hot, HOT — and we’re not just talking about the temperatures! With so many amazing events and colorful summer fashion choices, we don’t know if we’re more excited about this month’s social events or getting all gussied up for them. For this edition of What to Wear, we’re highlighting Crescent Hill Fourth of July Festival, Forecastle Festival and Wine, Walk & Shop in Jeffersonville. We’re pretty excited about our gorgeous models, too! We have Colleen Hayes, brand manager and stylist at Primp Style Lounge; Sarah Borgmann, an interior designer at LL&A Interior Design; and Linda Ruffenach, the founder of Whisky Chicks. They’re sporting looks from three amazing Kentuckiana boutiques: Work the Metal, Six Sisters and Dress & Dwell at none other than Louisville Waterfront Park. Here’s a look at what to wear this July!

Ready to take a stroll down Jeffersonville with a drink in hand while shopping from some of the best local stores? Then Jeffersonville Main Street, Inc.’s summer soirée, Wine, Walk & Shop, is a must! The nonprofit downtown revitalization organization hosts the fun-filled event, which features many wine tasting stations and a variety of hors d’oeuvres served in the charming downtown shops. There will be five live music acts along the sidewalks and special sales at locally owned shops — yep, SALES! Several area wineries will be on hand to offer wine tastings and to sell wine by the bottle, too. Cheers!
What to Wear: Dress to shop! We absolutely love these looks that our stylist, Shannon Kessler, pulled together for our stunning models. Not only are they cute and chic, they’re comfortable and light, perfect for the warm temperatures and all the walking you’ll do at this event. Check out these perfect looks from Six Sisters and Work the Metal.
