October 31, 2013 by Liza Graves

In NYC (and perhaps all of Germany), entirely black outfits abound every season, each and every year. For the rest of us, wearing all black is an “in” thing sometimes more than others. Personally, I love all-black outfits and am embracing the various textures available this season. And, the choices in black accessories this season are particularly plentiful. Pair them easily with your colors, your neutrals or yes, even your other blacks.

And, for those of you saying, “No, no, no. Black is not all that. It’s all about color now.” Well, I state my case with the following photos from Atlantic Pacific, one of my favorite fashion blogs. Each photo for the month of October has shown black as the dominant color. Here are five examples:

Did you notice all the black accessories? Gorgeous!

On that theme, today, we are picking out some gorgeous black bags, shoes, watches and other accessories in a variety of price points. We have both online options, as well as options available to purchase at local boutiques.

Let’s start with watches:

Now, some handbags.

elaine turner breast cancer clutch

Unlike many breast cancer awareness campaigns, Elaine Turner has launched one that raises funds through her exclusive products for a full year, not just one month. This patent leather clutch keeps you in style while 10% of all sales are donated to the Stehlin Foundation for Cancer Research. $250. elaineturner.com

Tory Burch Bag

This Tory Burch slouchy tote is big. Throw in your after work shoes, your kid’s sports uniform, your laptop. Notice the whip stitching (which is what got me). But, if you love it, order fast as there are only a few left. $550. toryburch.com

Cole Haan

Texture is a great way to break up many blacks worn together. This bag by Cole Haan is a perfect carry all with texture and functionality combined. $198. www.ColeHaan.com

Brahmin Handbag Black
