Artist Beizar Aradini is featured in the Frist Art Museum’s We Count: First-Time Voters exhibit, which highlights the first voting experiences of Nashville citizens. On September 17 at 5:30 p.m., Beizar is set to discuss her painting My Existence is Political. The piece features a poem as well as a portrait of Beizar’s friend Drenusha Kolshi, who was once a refugee and is now a U.S. citizen.
