Let’s talk tablescapes again with Missie Crawford. Today, Missie shows us how to take our traditional china and mix in a few modern touches to give it some new pizzazz. (And here’s a bonus: if you’re thinking ahead to your New Year’s table, some of these ideas today might just be the ticket for your end-of-holiday-season entertaining!)
Here Missie takes her own china, my china, some traditional goblets and mixes in some gold flatware, modern linens and glassware, along with white floral arrangements on a silver tray.
Instead of using just one vase of flowers, Missie grouped together several smaller glass containers with flowers and greenery of differing heights to add visual interest.
Missie set up a bar to allow mingling guests to serve themselves before dinner.
