Send your husband to neighboring Sid Mashburn, where he can be treated to beer, record-player tunes and a round of ping-pong with the boys, so you can shop opinion-free. Just be warned: he might be roped into Sid’s stellar sales as well. Mashburn sales are a bit of a fashion albatross, but you can find the best deals at their bi-annual events commonly held in February and July. Their warehouse sales are also not to be missed, but those are kept under strict lock-and-key, so stay in the know by keeping your eyes on their Instagram feed.

At the outlet, you’ll find the same quality Ballard pieces like upholstery, tables, rugs, lighting, drapery, bedding, art, outdoor seating and accessories, but at a better price point. While it might be hard to track down a specific item at an outlet, if you have the stamina and the patience, it might be well worth the return.
