Have to say that this has changed my life. Add some hair moisturizer from Lush, and you’re looking good!

I’m currently obsessed with my juicer. I just bought a Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Juice Extractor, and I’ve used it legitimately every day since buying it. It makes eating healthy so easy. You put a cucumber and some fruit in, and it gives you this delicious, pulpy juice. I don’t know how I lived without it. Simply Orange ain’t got nothing on my juicing skills now.

RAHUA was love at first shampoo. This line of shampoos and conditioners is completely natural, vegan, gluten-free and supports indigenous economies. Win, win, win and win. The Color Full shampoo and conditioner preserve your color (or mine, at least) thanks to a plant-derived color complex. If I’ve gone awhile without color, I switch to the Classic, which has a palo santo fragrance — win, again! I first tried this line because it doesn’t have nasty chemicals, but I have continued to use it because it cleans and moisturizes my hair.

My new favorite find is Living Proof’s Instant De-Frizzer Spray. It’s a dry conditioning spray that tames frizz and adds shine without weighing hair down. It’s silicone-free, which is hard to find in an oil-type product and a necessity for those of us with curly hair.

Frozen grapes (& a few other things … )
I’m a product junkie, and my latest favorites are this hair oil (a little goes a long way), this cleansing conditioner (so relatively inexpensive and possibly life-changing for my hair), this blemish zapper (MIRACLE PRODUCT ALERT) and this powder/sunscreen (expensive, but it lasts forever). However, my most favorite things right now are frozen grapes. They’re cheap, easy and the perfect summer snack!
— Megan Casey, SB Director of Marketing
UnF*ck Your Brain podcast
My favorite thing in the world right now is this podcast called “UnF*ck Your Brain.” It’s about taking control of our thought lives and overcoming all of the lies that our brains tell us on a daily basis. It’s helped me completely look at the world around me and at myself in a new light. We don’t have to believe every thought that comes to our mind, and we also can’t control other people’s thoughts, which is actually very freeing.

Summer is hardcore on my skin — I have a propensity for getting sun spots whenever I get the slightest bit of sun on my face. After a good exfoliation and a couple of drops of Burt’s Bees Brightening Skin Perfecting Serum, my face looks brighter and the sun spots are at a minimum. Plus it’s light and smells great!
– Ashley Haugen, Managing Editor
I’m crazy about my new Rothy’s. I originally held out because I rarely spend that much on shoes. I’ve had foot problems all of my life and have sadly gotten used to the fact that cute shoes usually hurt. Not with Rothy’s! I have house slippers that aren’t as comfortable. They are SO cute! And who can resist a shoe that goes in the washing machine?
— Ginny Staggs, SB Director of Sales
I am pretty much a sucker for any and all Little Seed Farm products, but their Little Seed Farm’s 3 Step Skin Care Set has made my previously inconsistent regimen so much easier and more enjoyable. Their products are all natural, made locally and totally affordable. They smell incredible, last forever and are great if, like me, your skin is on the sensitive side and doesn’t react well to harsh chemicals. They’ll even send you free samples in the mail to try first!
— Lacy Green, SB Traffic Manager
Getting my nails “dipped” instead of gel manicure. I have never, ever been able to grow my fingernails out. They’re too soft. Getting this new-ish technique done has given me big girl/grown up hands for the first time ever. SB Tip: Go for two layers instead of three for the most natural thinness.
— Linda Reeve, SB Social Media Manager
Rodan and Fields Lash Boost! It makes your eyelashes grow so long and makes them full after 3 months of use! And it really works!!
— Haley Bottorff, SB Louisville intern
I keep hearing about Bullet Journals, and after looking into how they work, I realized that my daily to-do journal is wildly inferior. I aspire to be a “Bullet Journaler.” So I haven’t gotten one yet, but you could definitely say I’m crushing on Bullet Journals at the moment. I’m just not sure that I’m sophisticated enough for them. We’ll see!
— Lauren Helmer, SB Regional Editor
GLAMGLOW GLOWSTARTER™ Mega Illuminating Moisturizer makes your face literally glow.
— Kate Neal, SB Nashville Client Success Representative
The Five Minute Journal is a one-page-a-day journal with prompts for each morning and evening. It has space for three things you are grateful for, things that would make the day great and words of affirmation in the morning and a quick reflection on something that could have made the day better and the highlights of the day at night. It’s a quick ritual that has really made me more mindful and appreciative of each day!
— Annie Reeves, SB Associate Editor and Marketing Assistant
