Brackish feather bow ties
These uber-cool bow ties, seen on red-carpet heartthrobs like George Clooney, are made in the heart of the low country in South Carolina. Each feather on a Brackish bow tie is hand selected, making each tie a one-of-a-kind work of art. Find them for $185 at brackishbowties.com.
Golden Arrow Boots
Inspired by Kacey Musgraves’ hit song, “Follow Your Arrow,” these boots are crafted out of marbled white leather and feature gold stitching, piping, inlay and two arrows. These boots are part of a collaboration between Kacey, a Texas native, and Lucchese. Until October 12, these boots are sold exclusively at lucchese.com/
This statement piece at Poppy’s in Atlanta, GA, is an astounding combination of artistry and nature. The necklace, $298, features a large, dazzling druzy stone pendant hanging from smaller, polished stones. Each locally made piece varies slightly in size, color and shape because of the 100 percent natural stone.
Blanket wraps are a needed addition to your wardrobe, especially a plaid one for fall and winter. These are sold in many different plaids and solids, too. The best part about this piece is that it buttons together and can be worn as a scarf, a wrap or a poncho. Sold for just $39 at Apricot Lane in Louisville, KY. Support breast cancer awareness this month by purchasing a Blessing for a Cure bracelet by My Saint, My Hero. Proceeds from the sale help fund breast cancer research. Available at Raine in Nashville, TN, for $32, or online at mysaintmyhero.com.
We love these small totes we found at J.McLaughlin in Louisville, KY (find them online at J.McLaughlin’s website), first because they are small and secondly, because they are nylon and easy to maintain. Even better are the colors, with navy, black and then the bright citron. This Juliette Nylon Tote is sold at J. McLaughlin for $138.
