As the months continue to warm, everyone wants that dewy, fresh-off-the-farm complexion (and not the yucky, sweat-induced acne and/or sun-induced wrinkles and age spots). Though you can find some great skincare products at the drugstore, we’re going all out to make sure everyone knows that the most important/stylish/goes-with-anything thing you can leave the house in is … your skin! We’re tracking down the most luxurious Atlanta skincare products (or just products with really luxe, good-for-you ingredients) to get you looking — and feeling — your absolute best this spring.

Neck Cream

I’ve always heard that you can tell a woman’s age by looking at her hands and her neck. Since none of us wants to walk around wearing gloves and a turtleneck in Atlanta’s blistering heat, it’s time to reverse those signs with a little help from Woo Skincare + Cosmetics. We were impressed with one of their newer products, Trish McEvoy’s Line Eraser Neck and Chest Essence, $98.50, which helps prevent and repair texture and elasticity, as well as lighten dark spots.

Firming Moisturizer

Reverse the signs of aging when you visit Decatur’s Fabu Face Spa, and pick up a jar of Eminence’s Firm Skin Acai Moisturizer with botanical hyaluronic acid to nourish and hydrate your skin. Eminence creates this antiaging luxe product, $60, as part of its Hungarian line of handmade, organic, small batches.

Clay Mask

We at StyleBlueprint love to keep it local, and it doesn’t get more Atlanta-friendly than this line of face masks from Reciprocitee. Available for oily and normal/dry skin, as well as a detox mask for all skin types, these jars, $15, contain clay powders of different ingredients (depending on your skin type). You add a sprinkle of water in your hand to create a paste with the powder that goes on your face. We really liked the detox mask to remove toxins and restore balance — made with French green clay, diatomaceous earth and rosemary powder. The whole Reciprocitee line is available at The Beehive.

Healing Bar

Not only do we love Sally B’s Skin Yummies because of the line’s dedication to nontoxic, high-quality ingredients and as an Atlanta-based product, but we also love the company because we’ve personally met “Sally B.” She’s a truly wonderful woman who literally works right alongside her team to create thought-out, earth-friendly products. Speaking of, try their Tamanu-Neem Healing Bar, $32, if you have sensitive skin. The added tamanu and neem oils help to enrich dry skin, especially that of heels and elbows. It’s also a great find for those with psoriasis and eczema.

Body Oil

You have a lot of skin to care for, so make sure you share the love beyond your face and neck. Hollybeth Organics’ Nourishing Body Oil, $55, is the perfect way to bathe your body in nutrient-rich, organic essential oils that will also make you smell fabulous with its lovely floral aroma. You can find Georgia’s own Hollybeth Organics at a few Atlanta stores, including Atlanta MADE, which only carries the work and products of local artisans.

Serum Gel

Julian’s Cosmetics + Skincare has some really cool and unusual skincare and makeup lines, and we loved seeing SkinCeuticals inside this fabulous Brookhaven store. When it comes to protecting our skin (and not worrying about a price tag), we really liked Phloretin CF Gel, $163. Now you’re probably asking — what the heck is phloretin cf gel? The product is a vitamin C antioxidant serum (in gel form) that helps improve skin tone, discoloration and environmental protection. Plus, it’s great for the warmer, sunnier months, as it complements sunscreen for an added defense.

Antiaging Moisturizer

Let’s face it, most of the skincare products many of us buy have some mention of “antiaging” in the title, but time may have met its match with PureMD’s Youth Everlasting, an antiaging moisturizer with stem cell and peptide technology said to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. The moisturizer, $98, and other products from the brand, can be purchased online at

Sugar Scrub

“Sugar scrub” seems like an oxymoron — how can something so sweet and normally delicious slough off dead skin?! Well, RachelMade’s Sumptuous Sugar Scrubs With Shea Butter, $24, do a great job of exfoliating even the most delicate of skin while moisturizing with the help of Shea butter and organic sunflower oil. Plus, the line is deliciously aromatic in scents that include Calming Clary Sage & Lemongrass and Refreshing Rosemary Peppermint. RachelMade is carried exclusively at The Beehive.

RachelMade’s Sumptuous Sugar Scrub, $24, can be found at The Beehive and comes in lots of great scents like Grapefruit Goddess.

We love the folks at Fig & Flower and their dedication to making this trusted beauty shop a reliable source for eco-beauty items with natural ingredients. There’s a lot of great stuff to choose from for some luxe loves, but we went with Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics’ Vitamin D Moisture Mist, $39. This botanical mist, consisting of shiitake mushroom (a natural source of vitamin D), helps tone and balance skin, while other helpful ingredients moisturize and protect skin against dryness.

Eye Serum

Take a trip to Buckhead’s Blue Mercury to get rid of those baggy, saggy, puffy eyes. The store carries Clinique’s All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage, $30. The title of the product might be long, but at least it explains what the results should be. The cooling rollerball massages away bags and brightens the eye area, allowing your inner youthful glow to come out on the outside as well.

These skincare products will do wonders for your face and body but just remember, beauty comes from the inside out and loving the skin you’re in, whatever it looks like, is the most important step in self-acceptance.
