A cake for every season? Yes! We know that there are plenty of bakers reading today who may bake cakes every week or every month. But, for the rest of the population, baking a cake is a real commitment. But, what if we served up just four cake recipes, one for each season? We can handle that, right? And, a gorgeous cake that you just may photograph to remember. With Katie Jacobs’ new cookbook, So Much to Celebrate: Entertaining the Ones You Love the Whole Year Through, you have just the recipes to do just that!

We’ve been fans of Katie’s for years. She does it all in the kitchen: savory, cocktails, desserts, parties … all of it! She can cook and style and give great ideas for any entertaining need. With so much to devour from her new cookbook, we decided to focus on cakes as nothing else compares when it comes to expressing “celebrate” in the distinct way that a cake does. And, just because we suggest a cake for each season, don’t think that the recipe literally can only be made in that season! Just bake whenever you think it’s best and … celebrate!
