The most wonderful time of the year has arrived! We’re ready to deck the halls, reunite with loved ones and welcome the holiday spirit. With that holiday cheer comes the need to pick up a few pretty presents for the lucky ones on your gift list. To help you pin down exactly what to give this year, we’ve asked the StyleBlueprint team to choose their favorite item on SB Shop. Whether they’re wrapping up these pieces for a friend or keeping them for themselves, here are the StyleBlueprint staffers’ favorite SB Shop items!
Liza Graves, CEO & Founder of StyleBlueprint
“The SINCE 1920 shirt continues to be my favorite item. It celebrates the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which happened in 1920, giving American women the constitutional right to vote. With 2020 just around the corner, it’s even more poignant and helps me to hold dear the things that I take for granted because it was just a blink in the past when this right was not ours. It’s non-partisan and 100% supports all women. I also now have a go-to shirt to wear each election day, in addition to all the other times I wear it because it’s a positive message AND super soft and comfy!” Find this t-shirt, for $29, here.
Katelyn Caughron, Memphis Client Success Representative
Katelyn’s favorite SB Shop item is the Hunter Blake palm earring. She says, “With every outfit that I wear, I typically always have a statement pair of earrings on to complete it. These earrings are subtle, yet have a pop of statement with the design and shape. Plus, they will match almost any color scheme and can be worn in any season.” Find them, for $107, here.
Melissa Thompson, Regional Account Executive
Melissa couldn’t narrow down her favorite to just one, but in this case, the more the merrier! She loves the Erika Roberts Studio ornaments (available in Birmingham, Nashville and Memphis skylines). “I’ve collected Christmas tree ornaments for years and pick up at least one on every vacation — but I don’t have one of my hometown. I love the way our city looks and plan to give this as gifts this year,” she explains. Find the Nashville ornament, for $25, here.
Melissa is also drawn to the new-to-SB Shop Trabeautiful 2020 desk calendar. She says, “I think that calendars are great holiday gifts! They represent the future and forward-thinking, which I love. This particular calendar is beautiful and would be a lovely addition to any desk or kitchen.” We totally agree! Find this calendar, for $48, here.
Taylor Justice, Birmingham Client Success Representative
Taylor agrees with Melissa saying, “My favorite item in the shop right now is the Erika Roberts Studio Birmingham ornament. I love filling my Christmas tree with ornaments that are special to me, and there’s no city that I love more than Birmingham. The bright watercolor painting of the Magic City skyline is gorgeous and vibrant! Everyone on my list will be getting one of her beautiful ornaments this year.” Find the ornament, for $25, here.
Lauren Cummings, Business Coordinator
Lauren, a new homeowner herself, loves the Maizie Clarke custom home portraits. “I love the home portrait and oval platter from Maizie Clarke. As a first-time homeowner, I think this is the perfect thoughtful gift! I’d love to have a hand-drawn memory of our first home to cherish for years to come,” Lauren says.
Unfortunately, we have passed the deadline for guaranteed Christmas delivery on these pieces, but SB Shop is offering a gift certificate, redeemable post-Christmas, so giftees can create their own platter. Find the gift certificates ($286) and more Maizie Clarke items here.
Annie Reeves, Nashville Lead Writer & Associate Editor
One thing you can always find on SB Shop is a great, expansive collection of jewelry, and a maker who has been part of the shop since the beginning is Nashville’s Carden Avenue. Annie loves their selection, saying, “My favorite thing in SB Shop is our Carden Avenue collection. Their jewelry is timeless yet trendy, and they can easily work with a t-shirt and jeans or dressed up for a night out. I think everyone should have a pair of big, gold hoops, and their Celine hoops are the perfect pair.” Shop Carden Avenue here.
Megan Casey, Director of Marketing
Similar to Annie, Megan is drawn to Carden Avenue’s timeless pieces. “The necklace set by the jewelry mavens at Carden Avenue is at the tippy-top of my wishlist. I’m slowly building out my jewelry collection with nicer pieces, and these will be the perfect addition!” Find the set, for $293, here.
Ginny Staggs, Director of Sales
StyleBlueprint’s Director of Sales, Ginny Staggs, is drawn to a new SB Shop item: Dwell & Good rugs. These rugs are an affordable addition to your home that add a splash of color and texture and, best of all, are beyond easy to clean. “I can’t wait to get a Dwell & Good rug for my kitchen. Food spills — no worries! And the designs are so fun, it’s hard to pick,” she says. Shop Dwell & Good rugs, starting at just $49, here. (SB TIP: Don’t miss out on Dwell & Good’s adorable pet mats and festive Christmas tree mats as well!)
Jenna Bratcher, Assistant Editor
Jenna, much like many of our team members, had a hard time nailing down just one item to choose as her favorite. “Is it wrong that I have three equally favorite SB Shop items?” she asks. Jenna loves the Tilton Street Feather Statement Earrings, noting that they’re colorful, fun and the perfect element to brighten up a holiday party ensemble. “This one is going on my own Christmas list (hint, hint, honey!),” Jenna adds. Shop the earrings, for $70, here.
In addition, Jenna is on the hunt for the perfect spot in her home for the Dwell & Good Lemon Bird Wallpaper. “I’m drawn to the vivid color scheme and whimsical pattern of this wallpaper, and I’m determined to create a unique space to accommodate it. Not to mention, it’s easy to wipe clean — a feature that definitely helps in a house with kids and dogs,” says Jenna. Shop the wallpaper, for $472.50, here.
Lastly, along with many of our Nashville team members, Jenna loves the “Because 440” tea towel, saying, “This is a witty holiday gift idea I’m giving to as many friends as possible, accompanied by a bottle of wine. It’s definitely on point for the current state of affairs here in Nashville. Not to mention, it’s both a useful kitchen tool and prompts a laugh!” Shop the tea towel, for $16, here.
Ashley Haugen, Editorial Director
Ashley has her eye on one of SB Shop’s luxury items — the Lilyan James travel wallet. “I love the Lilyan James travel wallet,” she says, “It’s simple but sleek … fashionable yet functional. Carry it solo or slip it in a carryall. It’s on my wish list!” Shop the wallet, for $157, here.
Megan Samuelrich, StyleBlueprint Nashville Intern
Megan favors an SB Shop best-seller. “My favorite item is Lettermade’s Drink More Champagne cocktail napkins,” she tells us. “These cocktail napkins are the perfect accessory for your table setting. Festive for the holidays, or an important reminder to add more bubbly to your life, these napkins add a fun, playful touch to any dinner party.” Find the set, for $48, here.
Peyton Haecker, Digital Marketing Analyst
“Much to my roommates’ dismay about premature Christmas decorating, I made the Southern Fried Design Barn purchase just before Halloween. I resisted the urge to use it before November but now this cute piece is hanging on our oven, and I have been loving it (and they finally came around too),” says Peyton. “Now I want to add two more so I can see a little group of them side by side each morning as I enjoy my coffee!” Find this festive Fa La La towel, for $18, here.
Cindy Acuff, Nashville Account Executive
Cindy Acuff plans to gift herself the SB Shop bestselling South of Hampton jewelry round this year. “I want a South of Hampton jewelry holder,” says Cindy. “I love the monogram, and you can’t have too many of these.” Find the jewelry round, for $42, here.
Amanda Stanfill, Memphis Account Executive
Amanda loves Memphis-made Tilton Street earrings. She tells us, “I own these filigree tassels, and I get compliments on them every time I wear them. They are so cute and add that perfect addition to pull any outfit together, they are a daily go-to for me now!” Find these, for $80, here.
Brendan English, Nashville Client Success Representative
Brendan is going for the Clayton & Crume Valet Catch-All this year saying, “If you’re someone who constantly searches for your keys and everyday essentials when heading out the door (aka, me every morning), this catch-all will become your dresser’s new favorite accessory. The Clayton & Crume catch-all is a simple way to keep everything you need in one place and avoid your daily ‘where are my keys’ scramble.” Find the catch-all, for $75, here.
