Have upcoming travel plans, or perhaps you have out-of-town guests heading into town for a visit? Make sure your furry BFF feels right at home when jet setting around the South. More than ever before, Southern resorts and hotels alike are offering dog-friendly accommodations, and they’re not stopping at simply allowing Fido into your room. Instead of merely tolerating pets, these “homes away from home” are going above and beyond to make your pup feel as welcome as you do.

From beds of their own to personalized dog-friendly baked goods, these hotels are pampering pooches so much it will be hard to convince your pup to leave. Pack your bags and grab the leash — here are some of the South’s most dog-friendly accommodations!
