HOME

Voluspa candle

These tiny candles put out some serious scents and will bring a breath of fresh air to any room in your house. Our favorite fragrance is the Saijo Persimmon, which reminds us of spring, but there are several others to choose from as well. Charlotte’s carries them for $8 each.

Wine Away

We wish we had known about this way before now, but now that we do, we’ve stocked up on this little lifesaver. Wine Away spray gets stains out of clothing and carpet, and because it doesn’t contain bleach, you don’t have to worry about discoloration. Monkee’s of Charlotte carries it for $6.

Scents and Feel hand towel

These solid, honeycomb Turkish hand towels are amazing! They come in several beautiful colors, wash well and only get softer as you use them. We recommend having them in the bathroom as guest hand towels or stocking up on a few and giving them as hostess gifts. Isabella carries them for $17 each.

Bunny tea towel

Once St. Paddy’s day is over it’s time to start decorating for Easter, and bright pastels and bunnies are a must! We found this adorable cottontail tea towel while shopping at Black Lion and think it’s a perfect addition to any kitchen. And with a $14.95 price tag, how can you resist?

BEAUTY

RICA daily cleanser

Calm your skin with this butter-based meringue cleanser from RICA — it’s great for dry or sun-damaged skin. The no-lather cream helps reduce inflammation and will leave skin dewy and conditioned. We have a feeling we’ll be using it a lot this summer after a day at the beach or lake. Isabella carries the cleanser for $27.

Beekman goat milk hand cream

Dry hands are a pet peeve of ours — we can’t stand the feeling so we’re always putting lotion on after washing our hands. Well, we found the perfect travel-size lotion at Nue Brows to stick in our purses. The Beekman goat milk hand cream isn’t too thick and doesn’t leave your hands feeling greasy. Plus, we really like the different scents you can choose from, like honey and orange blossom. Grab one for $15.

Stress fix spray

Like most people, we have those days where we’re just plain stressed out and have been looking for something calming to help. We found the answer at Mud Facial Bar with their Savasana Stress Fix spray. Just a few mists of the refreshing spray — made of a mixture of lavender, eucalyptus and green tea — and it’s exactly what will help clear your head and get you back on track. Snag a bottle for $28.

ACCESSORIES/JEWELRY

Lint roller

Stay stylish and lint-free with a Flint retractable lint roller from L&M Monogramming. Small enough to throw in your purse or keep in the car console, these can swipe away pet hair or lint in a pinch. We like that they’re refillable and that you can also add your monogram to one of the colorful rollers. Pick one up for $7.99 and the refill is $2.99.

Cosmetic bag

As much as we travel and attend events, it’s always nice to have a small cosmetics bag to keep our favorite products handy at all times. We love the colorful prints of these $18 Dana Herbert bags that we found at 32 Flavors Boutique! Not only are they fun, but they’re lined with plastic, so if a beauty product smudges or spills inside, you can simply wipe or wash out the inside and it’s good as new.

Hammered stack rings

Stacking several rings on one finger is all the rage these days, and it’s definitely a trend we can get behind. Who doesn’t love wearing a bunch of jewels at once? These simple bands from Meredith A. Jackson are great options if you’re looking for easy stackers. Take your pick from rose gold, yellow gold and silver. Rings are $18 each.

Cafe Du Monde Beignet Mix

Reid’s Fine Foods answered our prayers when they started carrying the famous Cafe Du Monde Beignet Mix. It’s seriously second to none, and now we don’t have to buy a plane ticket to get it! FOR FUN

Coozie

We know, we know, everyone has plenty of coozies, but this one is too awesome to leave behind! What more could a simple girl want than to feel pretty and eat pizza? Pick one up from Small Keys for $6 or two for $10. We plan to buy a few for our friends.

Pineapple sipper

Now that it’s spring, we have tropical drinks on our minds! These bright and fun cups caught our attention immediately during a visit to Swoozie’s Charlotte. We can’t wait to bring them out for a festive party or to sip on this summer by the pool. Pineapple sippers are $19.95 each.
